Terms & Conditions of Sales

Article 1 / Length of stay
The client signing this fixed-term contract may not under any circumstances claim any right to remain on the premises.

Article 2 / Booking formalities
The reservation becomes effective once the customer has made the payment on the website la-belle-epoque-cournon.fr.
The client will not pay for the entire stay; a deposit of 30% of the total amount will be required at the time of booking.
The remaining 70% of the amount to be paid will be due on the day of the client's arrival or at the end of the stay.
Prices are inclusive of all charges except tourist tax.

Article 3 / Cancellation of stay by the client
Any modification is only possible after agreement from "La Belle Epoque" and may incur additional costs.
We inform you that in the event of cancellation of the reservation before the start of the stay, the client will be liable, as a penalty clause, for compensation calculated as follows:
– if the cancellation occurs more than 48 hours before the arrival date, the deposit will be refunded in full;
– if the cancellation occurs less than 48 hours before the arrival date, the deposit will be retained by La Belle Epoque.
In case of early departure during the stay: full payment for the reserved service.

Article 4 / Cancellation Insurance
Please note that cancellation insurance is not included in our rates. We therefore strongly recommend that you purchase it.

Article 5 / Cancellation of stay by the owner
If, before the start of the stay, the owner has to cancel the reservation, they must immediately inform their client by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt. The client will then be immediately and fully reimbursed for any sums already paid. He will also receive compensation equal to the penalty he would have incurred if the cancellation had occurred due to his actions on that date.

Article 6 / Arrival and Departure Times
Check-in is available from 5pm. Please let us know if you will be arriving after 9pm.
Rooms must be vacated before 11:30 am on the day of departure.

Article 7 / Pets
Pets are welcome with an additional charge of €10 per day per pet.

Article 8/ Use of the premises
To ensure the tranquility of the premises and the comfort of guests of the Belle Époque, respect for a certain "art of living" is required of everyone. In particular, smoking is not permitted inside the rooms or common areas.
The client agrees to return the rooms in perfect condition at the end of the stay and to systematically report – and financially assume – any damage for which they are responsible.
Guests are advised that minors on the property are under the sole and full responsibility of their parents or guardians.
La Belle Epoque will not accept any responsibility for loss, theft and/or damage or injury to property and/or persons on the property, regardless of the cause.

Article 9 / Data Protection Act
In accordance with French law no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 concerning information technology, data files and civil liberties, you have the right to access and rectify your personal data. We undertake not to transmit the information you have provided to us to any other companies or organizations under any circumstances.
